Bob Grabowski Owner and General Manager. Bob has worked at Myrtle Beach Lighting since 1990. His previous work as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force did absolutely nothing to prepare him for what lay ahead. He thought working air traffic was a challenging job until his parents, Dick and Lorraine Grabowski invited him to work in the family business. When Dick and Lorraine decided to retire in July of 2000, Bob purchased the business secure in the knowledge that his parents had prepared him well for the responsibilities of ownership. Being able to just pick up the phone and consult with Mom and Dad is also a big plus. Bob is committed to continuing what his parents had started, a company providing a wide variety of lighting with superior customer service and great prices.

Jason Heroux Jason started working at Myrtle Beach Lighting in 1999 in the warehouse and making deliveries. After approximately 1 year it was very clear that he was management material so he was promoted to Warehouse Manager. In 2003 a position came open for showroom sales and Jason asked if he could be considered for that job. It was not a hard decision for me as the owner to make, Jason was in. He knew all of our products, well at least he knew what the boxes that they came in looked like. After a short training period Jason was promoted to Assistant Showroom Manager and in February, 2005 he was once again promoted to Showroom Manager. His knowledge of all our products continues to grow and his leadership abilities really shine through. There really is no problem that Jason can't handle. In fact he is so good that I am trying to get him to work on the problems in the Middle East. Jason really has prov en that there is not much that he can't handle. I am sure that you will agree if your path happens to cross Jason's.

Freddie Oliver Freddie is truly a diamond in the rough. A gem of great value to Myrtle Beach Lighting for over 3 years now. His 9 years experience in the lighting business have helped to make Freddie somewhat of an expert in the art of lamp repair and fixture assembly. He has the ability to remain calm in any situation which might make the rest of us a little nuts. Freddie will begin a task and work to its completion no matter what. This can be a big help to the customer who is looking for that "special something" - even if you're not sure of what it is --- ask for Freddie!

Rick Grant Rick has been with Myrtle Beach Lighting since mid-year 2000. He is a very dedicated outside sales person whose motivation is outstanding. He is enthusiastic about his job and does not pass up an opportunity to learn anything and everything which will enable him to better help his customers. Rick is somewhat of a kid at heart, who likes to play practical jokes every now and then, but he has grown on us all. You too will grow to appreciate his dedication and sense of humor if Rick is the Sales Representative working with you.

Reggie Brooks - Reggie is our Warehouse Manager. He came to us in the summer of 2004 looking for a job. We did not have any openings at the time but he gave me this "puppy dog" kind of look and after that I just had to give him a job. Reggie started in the warehouse as a stocker and delivery driver. When the position of Warehouse Manager came available I asked him if he was interested and he was hesitant and a little apprehensive. I however, recognized that Reggie had the potential and told him that he was our new Warehouse Manager. That was when he gave me that "deer in the headlights" look. Reggie has so far exceeded all of my expectations. If you need to have a delivery on a certain day at a certain time you can count on Reggie to make it happen.

Greg Faulkenberry, Bryant (The Bart Man) Barton Without these guys it just would not work that is a fact. It wouldn't do us any good to sell anything if we didn't have these guys finding ways to store inventory and get it delivered on time. They all work really hard, well most of the time, and they never screw up anything, well almost never. The truth is that we are very fortunate to have them all. You may not see them when you visit Myrtle Beach Lighting, but they are a big part of why we are "Simply the Best Choice". |
